bb’s cafe Stafford has proven it’s “on the boil” by taking out the Retailer of the Year Award from Stafford City Shopping Centre. The local cafe was recognised for its strong sales growth, attention to detail, involvement in the centre and customer satisfaction.
bb’s cafe Stafford owner Sarah Hills said she was thrilled to receive the award, which comes two years after she bought the store. “A big focus for us has been to ensure that we continue to offer a range of tasty and freshly-made treats for the customers, that our staff are happy and that it is an inviting place for our customers. “Since I bought the cafe, sales have grown substantially and we are receiving lots of positive feedback from customers.” Sarah said.

| Australian bakery chain Brumby’s Bakeries has appointed a new marketing team to spearhead its national expansion drive which will see 25 new stores open over the next 12 months. To assist with this expansion, Brumby’s has appointed Michelle McBride as National Marketing Manager and Lisa Gatenby as Senior Marketing Co-ordinator. Brumby’s National Operations Manager Deane Priest said the new marketing team would help bolster the leading brand. |

Contours opened its 150th studio last month in Sunbury, Victoria!
The studio officially opened its doors on in February, and paves the way for what is expected to be another strong year of growth for the franchise. With its first studio opening in January 2005, Contours has ballooned in to one of Australia’s fastest growing and most respected franchise systems.
“With over 150 franchises now operating and another 74 in development, Contours has cemented itself as a major player in the Australian fitness industry,” said Contours CEO Mr Dave Hundt.
