Car giant goes green during Brisbane Motor Show
Australian waterless carwash ecowash mobile has scored another win for the environment, being enlisted to maintain Hyundai Australia display vehicles during the Brisbane International Motor Show from February 2-11.
ecowash mobile managing director Jim Cornish said this sort of practical exposure was important to show the car enthusiast there is a genuine alternative to using water.
“One of our vehicles will be on display on the Hyundai stand to emphasise the partnership which is fantastic exposure for the waterless carwash concept,” Mr Cornish said.
“There are still people out there who are unfamiliar with the concept and surmise it can’t be as good as traditional methods. This sort of association helps dispel the myth – people can see for themselves how great the cars look.”
“Washing a car with water doesn’t actually remove dirt properly and over time this creates fine marks on the paintwork. Water and detergent are actually poor lubricants, whereas the polymer compound we use lifts the dirt from the surface of the paint and encapsulates it in a lubricant.”
Hyundai Australia will give away ’12 months’ of ecowashing (12 basic ecowash vouchers based on a standard car size) with every car sold at the motor show.
ecowash mobile have also formed an association with Lincorp Automotive Group in Parramatta.
Lincorp currently operates 8 new vehicle dealerships including Parramatta Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Parramatta Citroen, Parramatta Nissan and Hyundai, Parramatta Mitsubishi, and Parramatta European (Renault).
The new partnership follows a similar path the global innovator’s association with Melbourne City Lexus, with the entire dealership fleet going green and receiving waterless cleaning, polishing and maintenance.
Lincorp Automotive Group also has a ’12 month’ vouch deal for consumers with each Nissan sold.
